Every human being living on the surface of this earth belongs to one family or the other which ordinarily should have being a product of marriage, but going by the definition of Marriage that states that “it is that union that is socially recognized and approved between individuals, who commit to one another with the expectation of a stable and lasting intimate relationship”, most people cannot be said to have stemmed from any marriage in whatever form.
In my part of the world, as soon as anyone attains what is described as marriageable age (twenty –five and above) particularly the female, they automatically come under immerse pressure to get married by all means, as if age is the only or the most important determinant for marriage. A lot of couples are battling with one issue or the other and are just managing to cope with their different marriages, yet it seem to me that most people are more concerned with the consummation of marriages than they are concerned with their success.
