 Yesterday may have seemed just like every other day of the weekend.But for the large audience that witnessed the CANAAN RHYTHMS 2 of calabar festival that took place last night at the u.j.esuene stadium will remain etched in their memories.The line up of home based and upcoming stars at the event was impressive,Mr. xto,hilarious robert ekpo ,zerow badman,julie hay,don wonny,voka,prof aboki and lots more that dazzled the audience.

Calabar got swag and talent you know,And the popular dance called etighi recorded a new style yesterday called etighi atama.The atmosphere was electric and the event got off on a fast note with mr.xto performing NA YOU DEM SEND,BAD BELLE PEOPLE......you needed to see the crowd,the crowd went mad on this hit,and they really appreciated the performance he put up.Thumbs up Mr Xto,Mr Xto was not the only who impressed the crowd  last night ,Hilarious Robert Ekpo "true calabar boy" thrilled the crowd with his fresh hilarious jokes.

 Don moen (born june 29,1950 in minneapolis minnesota) his an american singer,song-writer,pastor and producer of christian worship music.Moens frist album for hossanna! music,GIVE THANKS,became the label 's best seller.He followed this with a number of successful albums.GOD WILL MAKE  AWAY the best of don moen was released in 2003 and features 19 greatest hit.This title songs was written for his wife's sister and her husband,who lost their oldest son in an auto accident while three other children were seriously injured.Moen's album,HIDING PLACE,became his first studio album which was recorded at paragon studios in franklin,tennesse and was released in autumn of 2006.I BELIEVE THERE IS MORE was released 2008.Moen is also a prolific songwriter,having worked with clarie cloninger,paul overstreet,ron kenoly,paul baloche among many others.He has also worked with talented musicians,abraham laboriel,alex acuna,pual jackson jr.His name associate with some of the most well known songs in contemporary christian music.

 WHAT DO YOU THINK? according to eyo whokes a wonderful comedian in calabar,calabar have lots of talented youth .The city of calabar was really fun last night as Monkal + chinese Biggie who arrived calabar yesterday from china took the stage with a brand new style,brand new etighi,singing ''IF YOU LOVE THIS MUSIC LET ME SEE YOU MOVE YOUR ....................... WAIST LIKE THIS.Talking about etighi you needed to see different styles of etighi dance step on stage last night,etighi is just a popular dance step in calabar.Last night was electrifying as last prophet the youngest,the finest and the most creative comedian did not just crack ribs but he made people forget about their stress.Bishop and paulino were not left out..................It was worth the night out with upcoming stars of calabar.

 In keeping with the tradition of making the famous calabar festival more exciting,foremost american musicians SEAN KINGSTON and RICK ROSS are among the dignitaries line up to perform in this year's edition of the festival.Kingston populary known for track such as ''BEAUTIFUL GIRL'' would perform at a reggae night scheduled to hold on the 16th of december 2011 at the u.j esuene sport stadium.

 Also to perform on that night would be king wadada,nyore,gen.brown bread,kandy sea,chantaman,prince and princess,betsy akan,chix x...america rapper rick ross would rock the city on CALABAR ROCK NIGHT on december 28 2011.

 Alongside the likes of p-square,banky w,wizkid,ojb jezreel and julius agwu at the u.j esuene sport stadium.Also to perform in this year's calabar festival is kool and the gang,an american jazz,r&b,soul and funk group.The soul and funk group would perform at the governor's masked fete on december 20th 2011,at the tinapa water park,also perfroming the same evening would be sugar band,temitayo george and bassey ebong.
